A fully equipped public sanitation container installed by IOM at the Otaci border crossing

Otaci, April 16 - In response to the request of the local authorities in Otaci, IOM Moldova, with the generous financial support of the Norwegian Government, has installed a fully equipped public sanitation container at the Otaci border crossing.

This initiative addresses the availability of public toilets in this area crossed by 1,300-2,000 people daily.

The project, which is part of IOM's broader commitment with the Moldovan Government in providing services to the local community, migrants and refugees, was implemented in collaboration with the local authorities in Otaci, who not only facilitated the necessary technical documentation process, but also contributed to the installation and connection to water, electricity and sewerage networks.
