IOM continues to facilitate the provision of support to Ukrainian people who suffered as a result of Russian military aggression.
On 1 April, the IOM Moldova handed over the first truck with 32 pallets of humanitarian batch of medicines, baby food, diapers, clothes and blankets, collected and sent to the people of Ukraine by @Pompiers de l'urgence Internationale (PUI).
Distribution and targeted transfer of aid in Ukraine will be performed by the @Public Movement "Faith, Hope, Love".
IOM Moldova expresses its gratitude to the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova, General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova, State Customs Service of Ukraine and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for their assistance in the prompt delivery of the critical supplies.
The IOM mission to Moldova will continue offer support to refugees and to local authorities in the context of managing the humanitarian crisis, providing necessary donations of goods, together with UN agencies and the other donors.
