IOM supports Moldovan authorities and diaspora's economic engagement through a series of meetings in Madrid on 7-8 September 2024

Chisinau, September 8 - Titled "Diaspora Invest. Invest at Home", the series of events bring together public authorities, Moldovan diaspora investors from Spain and Moldovan businessmen to discuss investment opportunities, current legal and institutional framework, innovations, start-ups, and market potential. Practical leads and partnership were discussed, for further follow-up by the private sector. Diaspora manifests strong interest for investment opportunities in the homeland.

 

IOM participated and contributed to the organization of the Diaspora Invest forum in Madrid, thus striving to boost financial and economic literacy of the Moldovan diaspora, and foster partnerships, investments, and business creation in Moldova as well as for the benefit of the diaspora abroad.
